How do I find your helpdesk?

We utilize the Freshdesk ticketing software to provide our clients with world-class timely support for their everyday business and technical needs. You can send us an email at support@starsourceconsulting.com or go to starsourceconsulting.freshdesk.com to create a ticket through our system. If you still have questions or need a more personal touch, you can call us anytime 8 am – 5 pm M-F at 513-342-6260.

How do I log in to your timekeeping system?

We use a timekeeping system called XactTime to help healthcare and warehouse facilities (among others) to keep track of their employees’ time while being able to easily edit and report on employee timesheets. If you are trying to log in to our timekeeping system, you can simply click here to be taken directly to our login page. Your Client ID is the same thing as your facility ID (or #) and your Login ID and Password should be your Employee Number. If you need additional help, you can use our ticketing system or give us a call anytime 8 am – 5 pm M-F at 513-342-6260.

Does StarSource provide tutorials or guides to help employees learn the software and/or hardware?

Sometimes a transition to a new software or hardware can be difficult for some employees within a business, and that is totally understandable! That is why we provide detailed and easy-to-understand guides and tutorials in whatever format a client desires. We make digital guides that can be printed out and given to employees, hung up, and even sent through email. We create instructional videos, and even sometimes a simple gif that can walk someone through a process that may be difficult to explain over email. We are open to providing support in all types of formats and are constantly evolving to make sure we are providing the most up-to-date and easily digestible content.

What advantages does your time-keeping system include?

We have two different time clocks, one with a biometric scanner, and one with facial recognition. The biometric scanner clock is easy and effective and takes just a finger scan and button click to clock in or out. This clock is the best for healthcare companies as it provides all you need to succeed, with nothing extra. With the facial recognition clock, all that’s needed is to stand in front of the device for a few seconds and you’re automatically clocked in or out. This timeclock is best for administration and retail customers. Both time clocks come equipped with an online timekeeping portal you can access with a phone or computer where you can see and edit employee timesheets with a few simple clicks. As a payroll or HR manager, you do not want to be bogged down with manual labor that slows you down. That’s why we work with you to create custom settings and reports to make your job easier, spending less time tracking down employees and messing with timesheets, and more time making your organization function smoothly.
